I’ve learned a lot about color theory since I created my Clay Box app in 2019. I’ve started mixing a lot of my own colors and creating palettes of colors that work well together. I’ve mostly been using primary colors for mixing so I have quite a bit of other colored clay I haven’t used.
I recently decided that I should make an effort to use all that old clay before buying any more. One color that I haven’t been keen on, and hence have a lot left, is Premo cayenne. It looks like a sort of dark brick red with an orange hue. So, I was a bit shocked that it creates a rosy pink when mixed with white. Surprise!
This is why I originally created my app, I just couldn’t predict what the mixtures might produce.
